Marketing & Sales Specialist

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

As the Marketing and Sales Specialist, you will support members of the marketing and business development (sales) teams to achieve CT3’s aggressive growth plan. The Specialist will contribute to the execution of strategic marketing plans (from campaign design and deployment to sales enablement), and support sales team members to ensure pipeline accuracy and progression. You will have a successful track record in a marketing role (digital, content, social, or communications/PR) and/or in a sales (or sales support) position. You will bring your creativity, collaboration, and positive attitude while thriving in a past-faced, mission-driven environment. Some sample responsibilities include:

  • Maintain editorial calendar, develop content, and post regularly to organization’s social media channels
  • Support multiple business development team members (sales) in managing pipeline of accounts by updating the database and completing customer service requests
  • Organize and update a growing virtual library of resources, tools, collateral, talking points, emails, videos/testimonials, proposals, and presentations
  • In partnership with the Marketing and Communications Director, evaluate the results of each campaign to optimize future investments and plan for continuous improvement
  • In partnership with Sr Director of Partner Success, update and develop tools to manage the demand generation process, tracking, and handoffs to create a smoother experience for partners
  • Maintain and create digital assets, including new web pages and functionality, landing pages, and settings to optimize search
  • Stay on top and review education, leadership, coaching, and anti-racism trends and opportunities to ensure CT3 remains a leader within the education industry and in the digital learning solutions space

POSITION SALARY

CT3 commits itself to a set of culture tenets, core values and anti-racism pillars that drive everything we do. We acknowledge that structural racism and sexism exist in the market and we want to ensure we are not replicating that in our compensation philosophy. Our goal, therefore, is to provide competitive base compensation with a path to the 75th percentile of the fair market rate for each position after team members fully demonstrate proficiency in their roles, and provide transparency into salary ranges in advance. Opening ourselves to negotiation in these ranges delegitimizes the integrity of our compensation philosophy and could lead us to pay more to those who advocate loudest for themselves above market. Accordingly, we adhere to a non-negotiation policy on each starting salary offer presented.

 

The offered base salary for the Marketing & Sales Specialist is $70,000.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or related field
  • 2 years+ proven track record of success in a marketing or sales/sales-support role
  • Excellent interpersonal communications skills and ability to build relationships
  • Strong content creation, copywriting, and written communication skills 
  • Demonstrated experience in managing social media platforms for an organization
  • Detail-oriented multi-tasker with ability effectively manage projects and follow through on tasks
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Time management and prioritization tactics to meet critical deadlines
  • Proficiency using Microsoft (Outlook, Word, Excel, PPT) and Google (Docs, Sheets, Slides) suites
  • Experience using CRM software to manage client relationships

 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Proficiency using digital marketing platforms (WordPress, Pardot, Canva, Salesforce, Google Analytics, Tweetdeck/Buffer, etc.)
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or other graphic design and production software
  • Experience with K-12 education and an understanding of challenges faced by the classroom teacher, principal, and district administrator

 

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for the requirements listed above.
