Kiah J. Hufane, M.S.Ed.
Kiah began her career in education with the Teach For America Greater Philadelphia corps as a middle school Humanities teacher. After several years in the classroom, she became a school administrator in New York City, where she saw the impact that transformative teacher coaching can have on a school community. Kiah has served as Assistant Principal and Principal at Success Academy Charter Schools in New York City as well as Associate Director of Talent, where she oversaw the hiring for K-8 teachers and school-based leadership staff for Success Academy’s 46 schools.
Kiah holds a Master’s of Science in Urban Education from the University of Pennsylvania, studying the impact of collaborative learning in the social studies classroom. She loves traveling, photography, and making homemade pasta and has a Cavalier King Charles named EmmaJean. She also has a lifelong goal of becoming a contestant on The Amazing Race.
