Marcus was drawn to the CT3 mission and is excited to help increase CT3’s impact in more schools across the country. As the COO Marcus led the development of CT3’s bold new vision and impact growth strategy, including our work in operations, data, and marketing. He supported our state, district, and school partners and leading cross-functional teams to achieve CT3’s mission of transforming the quality and culture of education and creating equitable, nurturing places to learn for all scholars.
Prior to joining the CT3 team, Marcus proved himself an accomplished, award-winning brand builder and digital marketer with over 13 years of business leadership at Procter & Gamble. His diverse and strategic leadership experience includes profit and loss management, brand reinvention, and go-to-market innovation. While at P&G, he helped to launch Vidal Sassoon Pro Series, turn around Olay Skin Care business results, and create the P&G North America performance marketing and data strategy.
Marcus earned his Bachelor of Science in applied economics and management from Cornell University in 2005. A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, Marcus recently relocated to Southern California with his wife and two young children.
