Crystal McHardy

Crystal is an experienced educator who is passionate about curriculum and instructional practice that positively impacts educational outcomes for underserved student populations.

Crystal began her career in education as a Teach For America middle school science teacher in Compton, California. After completing her 2-year commitment, she decided to continue teaching in various urban and rural districts across the US, where she developed a passion for delivering high-quality professional development and creating relevant and engaging curricula at the school and district level.

Crystal comes to CT3 after 10 years of providing instructional leadership, school support, and curriculum development as a Regional Program Manager for SABIS® Educational Systems.  During her time with SABIS, she managed the implementation of the science curriculum,  in addition to creating and managing network-wide initiatives to improve instructional practice across the US Member SABIS schools.

Crystal holds a bachelor’s degree from Spelman College and master’s degree in education from the University of New Haven.  

Crystal is a seasoned world traveler and always up for an adventure. She is a lover of all things tropical and has adopted Belize as a second home. Crystal is also a certified Yoga teacher and lifelong student of ancient practices that guide and support her ongoing quest for balance of mind and openness of heart. Crystal has 3 children and currently resides in Atlanta, GA.
